With Sesame, the DeepTech startup contexxt.ai Technologies offers a highly secure, generative AI solution for enterprises – designed to unlock knowledge instead of letting it stagnate in silos. Built on a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, the application enables secure, GDPR-compliant access to internal documents and systems across departments via an intuitive chat interface. The goal is to bridge the gap between existing company knowledge and employees’ operational understanding. contexxt.ai follows state-of-the-art cybersecurity-by-design principles and has developed its proprietary GenFortress technology to secure its AI infrastructure. The solution is hosted exclusively in Europe using the OVHcloud Public Cloud, powered by high-performance GPU H100 instances for running and scaling large language models.

Founded in 2023 within an academic setting, contexxt.ai collaborates closely with research institutions such as CISPA and Fraunhofer SIT. Its mission: to create highly secure AI solutions for the European market, where data sovereignty, transparency, and access control are non-negotiable. When dealing with generative AI – which processes large volumes of sensitive enterprise data – it was essential to find a European cloud provider that complies with strict GDPR requirements, operates independently and enables the implementation of a closed and controlled environment.

At the same time, contexxt.ai believes knowledge and information should be used more efficiently in day-to-day business, especially across departments.

contexxt.ai deliberately chose OVHcloud as its cloud infrastructure partner. As an European provider, OVHcloud meets the highest security standards, operates its own data centers, and actively promotes digital sovereignty for its customers. The architecture of Sesame follows a strict zero-knowledge principle: neither OVHcloud nor contexxt.ai have access to the processed data. All information remains fully encrypted from input to response generation.

With its Sesame platform, contexxt.ai has developed an innovative solution that enables the use of generative AI in enterprises – without compromising on security, data protection, or data sovereignty. The aim is not only to preserve organizational knowledge, but to make it efficiently accessible and directly usable for employees.

As part of the OVHcloud Startup Program, the young company found ideal conditions to further develop its Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture and build it on a robust European cloud infrastructure. contexxt.ai relies on cutting-edge technologies: These include the open-source model Mixtral, operated on powerful H100 GPU instances from OVHcloud, a scalable container architecture in the public cloud, managed databases such as MongoDB and a custom-built framework based on Redis ^TM.

The technical foundation of the solution is consistently designed for scalability, security, and performance. It comprises a containerized microservice architecture, managed databases like MongoDB, and internally developed frameworks based on Redis™. On this basis, contexxt.ai successfully integrates generative AI into the day-to-day operations of companies. It works under the highest security standards – as a true tool for greater efficiency, better decision-making and cross-departmental knowledge utilization.

The knowledge generation itself is also continuously optimized: contexxt.ai has developed a proprietary data pipeline that automatically analyzes processes and enriches content from a wide variety of document types through semantic compression. This reduces redundant information and condenses key messages, enabling the language model to work with the most informative knowledge elements possible. The result: higher information value, shorter response times and significantly improved answer quality when using generative AI.
