Who can register a .cn?
The owner must provide the required documents in order to register a .cn domain.
Documents required:
For an individual
- Copy of the domain name holder’s passport (JPEG format).
Notes:
- Reserving a domain name is not the same as registering it. Domain registration with the .cn registry requires mandatory document verification. The domain’s status will be “pending verification” during this verification procedure.
- If the domain does not successfully pass the check after 7 days it will be deleted.
