Even if these technical names include a year, please rest assured that the product available to order is indeed the latest version, as we update our offerings regularly.

OVH 2014 Web Hosting plans — name change
Our Web Hosting plans were initially named Personal 2014, Professional 2014, and Performance 2014 when they were first launched — but their product names have now changed. Their official product names are now Personal, Professional and Performance. These shared hosting solutions leverage all of our expertise, and are scaled to meet your needs as your projects grow. In the OVHcloud Control Panel, you will see that the product names have not changed. This is the case with the Professional 2014 hosting package, for example.
Each of our hosting plans is adapted to suit a specific use. This way, you get all the services you need for your business. Whether you are looking to launch a personal blog, a professional website or an e-commerce platform, we have a solution to meet each project’s requirements.
Legacy Personal 2010 and Professional 2010 plans
The Personal and Professional 2010 solutions correspond to the legacy shared hosting plans offered by OVHcloud. These were later replaced by the Personal 2014 and Professional 2014 solutions. Today, our shared hosting plans are named Personal, Professional and Performance — and they each correspond to a different set of requirements.
Legacy Start 1G, Start 5G, Start 10G / 20 GP, 60 GP, 300 GP plans
Start solutions are no longer available to order. They were replaced by the Personal Hosting plan, which offers a wide range of features to get started with, and plenty of disk space to host your websites. It also has 10 5GB email accounts, as well as a 200MB database.
Legacy 90Plan and 240Plan solutions
These plans are no longer available to buy. They have been replaced by the Professional plan, which is perfect for hosting business websites.
With the Professional plan, you get:
- A free domain name
- 250GB disk space
- 100+ email addresses
- Unlimited traffic on your website
You can host several dynamic websites on a single web hosting plan, and order additional SQL databases in addition to your Professional plan, if you need them.
Legacy 720Plan, MediaPlan and XXLPlan solutions
The 720Plan, MediaPlan and XXLPlan hosting services are no longer available. They were replaced in 2014 by the Performance Hosting plan, which offered guaranteed and scalable resources, 1,000 email accounts, and brand-new services. You get 4 databases included, and a Private SQL server.
Users could already manage their websites and webpages with virtually no limits and zero downtime, by managing databases and their users. This infrastructure now offers new benefits, including the option of accessing additional resources with 500GB disk space. In the event of a traffic spike, we offer a Boost option that is very convenient and easy to enable. It maintains your website’s performance and keeps your data available.
