Glossary
Service: The OVHcloud service concerned.
OpenStack Zone: Our PCI and VPS solutions are based on OpenStack technology. We have several different OpenStack regions, which are separate from our datacentres. The table shows the links between these regions and the datacentre. The OpenStack region for each service is listed in the Control Panel.
Datacentre: The datacentre in which the service is physically hosted.
Status: The current status of the service:
- recoverable*: services that have been isolated as a security measure and which may be partially or fully reactivated in the near future
- non-recoverable: services affected during the incident that cannot be restored
- under investigation: services which may be partly recoverable* or non-recoverable (diagnostics currently in progress)
*Due to the exceptional situation, there is still a possibility that services listed as "Recoverable" cannot be recovered, despite all our efforts.
Internal Backup (DC/Service): Backups performed by OVHcloud for our service management needs (non-contractual).
Internal Backup Status: Current status of the Internal Backup.
Backup Service: To allow our customers to secure their data, OVHcloud offers optional backup services, free or paying, in the same data center (local) or in another data center (multi-DC).
