Packaged service
The Nutanix on OVHcloud packaged service is an all-in-one platform. Our two options — the Nutanix Standard Pack and Nutanix Advanced Pack — combine the pre-installed Nutanix Cloud Platform software licences as a bundle with dedicated, Nutanix-qualified OVHcloud infrastructures.
Nutanix Standard Pack
The Nutanix Standard pack has been designed for deploying new production sites. It contains AOS Pro, Prism Pro and Flow licences.
The prices of our packs include tools to ensure a secure connection to your Nutanix cluster (IP Load Balancer/cluster at £178 ex. VAT/month).
Reminder: Minimum of 3 servers required/cluster (maximum of 15 servers/cluster).

What is included in the price?
Included in our price:
- Hosting in our datacentres.
- Provision of Nutanix-qualified dedicated servers (the quantity depends on the number of servers (nodes) selected).
- Incoming and outgoing network traffic.
- Pre-installation of the Nutanix Cloud Platform software.
- The initial setup of a Nutanix cluster.
- For packaged services only: A selection of Nutanix Cloud Platform licences to rent for the subscription period, depending on the type of pack you have chosen (Standard or Advanced).
Not included in our price:
- For the BYOL service: Nutanix Cloud Platform licences.
- The Business and Enterprise support levels, which are recommended for the service subscription.
- Backups.
- An OVHcloud Connect private link.
- A managed service.
Are Nutanix on OVHcloud solutions scalable in terms of software and hardware?
Nutanix on OVHcloud solutions are scalable.
- In terms of software: OVHcloud is committed to offering you the major Long Term Support (LTS) versions of Nutanix, as well as the Short Term Support (STS) versions. You can then deploy clusters with the versions you want.
- In terms of hardware: You will soon be able to add or remove servers (nodes) — but you need to keep in mind the Nutanix engineering rules and potential constraints (available stock, space in racks, etc.).
However, you cannot add hardware options on existing servers (nodes) — this applies to memory, storage, etc.
Can I add Nutanix add-ons (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Era database, Calm, etc.)?
For the packaged service: No, currently it is not possible to add add-ons that are not included in the editions offered.
For the BYOL service: You can add Nutanix add-ons of your choice, depending on the licences you have purchased from Nutanix. This excludes Frame, the VDI solution from Nutanix.
Are Nutanix on OVHcloud solutions deployed across multiple availability zones?
Nutanix on OVHcloud solutions are deployed in node awareness mode. This means the Bare Metal servers that make up the cluster (nodes) are grouped in the same rack, within the same datacentre. If multi-zone resilience is required, you can link several Nutanix on OVHcloud clusters to one another, provided that they are all under the Nutanix Advanced pack (including AOS Ultimate).
