What is a Bare Metal Pod?
Bare Metal Pod is the fruit of several months of research and development, backed by 25 years of OVHcloud datacentre expertise and innovation.
The result: a fully isolated platform in terms of both hardware and software. The customer’s services run in a separate, isolated space within OVHcloud datacentres, with dedicated network infrastructure and servers.
The rack can be managed remotely using either a graphical interface or industry-standard OpenStack APIs, for a full cloud computing experience.
Thanks to our development efforts, we have integrated a software layer into the infrastructure, using proven open-source technologies like OpenStack, Grafana*, or Netbox. This building block simplifies configuration, and does not require any system or network administration skills.
Bare Metal Pod has been qualified SecNumCloud by ANSSI. This reaffirms our adherence to best security practices and provides a reliable solution with enhanced sovereignty and security for critical, sensitive cloud data.

All dedicated servers are equipped with encrypted disks by default, with keys stored in a Key Management Service (KMS) in your dedicated environment, providing a high level of data confidentiality.
