How many websites can I install on my multi-site hosting plan?
You can host as many websites as you want. Each project has its own configuration (files, databases, domains, SSL certificate), so you can maintain clear and centralised management. Discover our web hosting plans to compare the included resources.
Can I add multiple domain names?
Yes. You can connect as many domain names as you need, whether they are registered with OVHcloud or transferred from another registrar. Check out our dedicated space on domain transfers to learn more.
Can I create subdomains?
Of course! For example: “blog.mysite.uk”, “shop.mysite.uk” or “events.mysite.uk”. Each subdomain can host a separate site. Find out how to configure your DNS zones in our documentation.
Is multi-site hosting compatible with WordPress?
Yes. You can deploy WordPress or any other CMS (Drupal, Joomla!, PrestaShop, etc.) on your multi-site web hosting plan. One-click installation allows you to quickly launch your web projects.
Do my websites share the same resources?
Yes, the disk space (storage), processor (CPU), and memory (RAM) are shared. However, you can adjust your plan or add additional databases according to your needs. For more power, consider upgrading to Performance hosting.
Is my multi-site web hosting plan secure?
Absolutely. Our servers are protected by advanced firewalls, continuous monitoring, and automatic backups. Each web hosting plan also includes free SSL certificates, ensuring that the data exchanged between your visitors and your websites stays secure.
Can I install my own SSL certificate?

Can I automatically back up my websites?
Yes, all our web hosting plans include automatic daily backups. You can restore your files or databases from up to 14 days prior at any time from your Control Panel, without needing to contact our technical support team.
How does OVHcloud protect my data?
Our web hosting plans include all essential protections by default: application firewall (WAF), free SSL/TLS certificates, automatic backups, and DDoS protection. Our technical team continuously monitors the infrastructure and applies the latest security updates. As for your data, it is hosted in France, in our own datacentres.
