Data update in preparation for regulatory changes
In France, a reform for mandatory e-invoicing and e-reporting is currently being rolled out, requiring invoice data to be transmitted to the French authorities. This reform will gradually mandate the issuance and receipt of B2B electronic invoices, with the timeline for implementation varying based on company size.
As a result, large enterprises and medium-sized businesses will be obligated to issue e-invoices starting 1 September 2026. Subsequently, small enterprises and micro businesses will follow suit on 1 September 2027. Beginning in September 2026, VAT-liable companies will be required to accept e-invoices.
This makes it possible to:
• issue invoices in accordance with French law and the forthcoming e-invoicing reform,
• avoid service interruptions, errors, or tax non-compliance,
• accelerate operational processing,
• improve service reliability and quality.
