Our second generation AMD Scale range is based on the “Zen4” architecture. The Scale-a5 features an AMD Epyc 9004 series processor with 64 high frequency cores, offering enhanced performance than the previous generation, as well as optimised density, allowing us to reduce the energy impact of our Scale servers. This makes the server a preferred solution for complex, resource-intensive workloads such as virtualization, big data, etc.
In addition, the AMD Infinity architecture integrates AMD Infinity Guard technology, with advanced security features, such as Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV), Secure Nested Paging (SNP), Secure Memory Encryption (SME), Shadow Stak and Secure Boot.
