Microsoft licences available with Public VCF as-a-Service include the Standard and Datacenter versions. OVHcloud makes integrating them into VMware solutions easier, which simplifies management and ensures compliance. How do I install a virtual machine (VM) with images and/or licences?

Simply go to the content library and deploy a virtual machine with the desired image.

Can I use an OVHcloud Microsoft licence on a VM?

Yes, you can use our licences to create a new virtual machine, or for a machine you’ve migrated. Contact us for more information

Can I transfer my Microsoft on-premises licences to OVHcloud?

Yes, you can use your SPLA licences (Standard or Datacenter) with OVHcloud. Please note however that using Microsoft licences is subject to specific conditions within our setups. Contact us for more information

Can I buy Microsoft licences from OVHcloud?

No, we don’t resell Microsoft licences. We only offer cloud services (dedicated servers, VPS, instances or VMware solutions) with Microsoft licensing options: Windows Server and SQL Server.
