Starter Pack
The Starter Pack is designed for deploying new production sites on a large scale, and running multiple applications at the same time. It is also well suited for advanced cost governance, and includes the NCP Starter Pack licences, i.e. the Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI) Pro and Nutanix Cloud Management (NCM) Pro licences.
The prices of our packs include tools to ensure a secure connection to your Nutanix cluster (1 Load Balancer - Pack 2 per cluster at $287.99 /month, with 20 TB of traffic included + additional consumption*. You can find more details here).

Included in our price:
- Hosting in our datacentres;
- Provision of Nutanix-qualified dedicated servers (the quantity depends on the number of servers (nodes) selected).
- 1 Load Balancer - Pack 2 per cluster, with 20 TB of traffic included + additional consumption*;
- Incoming and outgoing public network traffic of up to 10 Gbps;
- Pre-installation of the Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP) software;
- The initial setup of a Nutanix cluster;
- For packaged services only: a selection of Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP) licences to rent for the subscription period, depending on the specific pack, software options and add-ons chosen.
Not included in our price:
- For the BYOL service: Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP) licences;
- The Business and Enterprise support levels, which are recommended for the service subscription;
- Backups;
- An OVHcloud Connect private link;
- A managed service.

Nutanix on OVHcloud solutions are scalable.
- In terms of software: OVHcloud is committed to offering you the major Long Term Support (LTS) versions of Nutanix, as well as the Short Term Support (STS) versions. You can then deploy clusters with the versions you want.
- In terms of hardware: you can add (scale out) or remove (scale in) servers (nodes) within heterogeneous clusters – but keep in mind the Nutanix engineering rules and potential constraints (available stock, rack space, etc.).
However, you cannot add hardware options on existing servers (nodes) – this applies to memory, storage, etc.

Packaged service: this provides you with a selection of software options and add-ons from the Nutanix Cloud Platform, such as Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS), Nutanix Database Service, and soon Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP).
For other software options and add-ons, you will need to select the BYOL service.
BYOL service: you can add the software options and add-ons of your choice based on the licences you have purchased from Nutanix.

Are Nutanix on OVHcloud solutions deployed across multiple availability zones?
Nutanix on OVHcloud solutions are deployed in node awareness mode. This means the Bare Metal servers that make up the cluster (nodes) are grouped in the same rack, within the same datacentre. If multi-zone resilience is required, you can link several Nutanix on OVHcloud clusters to one another, provided that they are all under the Pro and Ultimate Packs.
*Once the traffic included in your pack has run out, OVHcloud will start charging you for your usage. OVHcloud charges $0.0148 for each GB of additional traffic (incoming and outgoing).
