Q2 2026 Product Update
Welcome to The Cloud Cover, your quarterly look at what's shaping the OVHcloud platform. New this quarter: the much-awaited GA for File Storage, a Landing Zone Accelerator for instant sovereign cloud foundations, FIPS 140-3 for KMS, five new Connect PoPs across three continents, per-second billing across Public Cloud, new audit, alerts and time-travel capabilities on Data Platform, the Premier 2027 generation for Managed VMware, Nutanix on OVHcloud stretched across 3-AZs in Paris, new Zerto capabilities for DR at scale, and a refreshed entry to our VPS, Web Hosting and Managed WordPress catalogues.
Platform Foundations & Resilience
The platform's foundations were strengthened this quarter. We extended our backbone, private connectivity, across Europe, Asia and the United States. We brought native 3-AZ failover to public IP routing in Paris, achieved FIPS 140-3 certification on KMS, shipped a native External Secret Operator provider for Kubernetes-native secrets management, launched Landing Zone Accelerator for instant sovereign governance, and aligned Public Cloud billing with the hyperscaler standard with per-second granularity.

RTvRack — Native 3-AZ failover for public IP routing in Paris
Additional IP blocks attached to vRack networks now benefit from native cross-AZ redundancy in the Paris region. Define failover priorities between availability zones (Primary, Secondary, Last-resort) and let traffic reroute automatically during an AZ outage. Seamless integration with existing OVHcloud infrastructure, at no additional cost.

Data, Storage & AI Acceleration
More data, more workloads, more AI — and that changes what the platform needs to support. This quarter delivers File Storage GA (our second most-requested product ever), four new governance and lineage features for Data Platform, a modern entry point for Managed Databases with Discovery, and half-price asynchronous inference with the AI Endpoints Batch API.
Hybrid Cloud & Enterprise Platforms
Cloud transformation does not mean starting from scratch. It should be about evolving what already exists, securely and without disruption. This quarter brings Premier 2027, a new hardware generation for Managed VMware vSphere with 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors; Nutanix on OVHcloud stretched across 3 availability zones in Paris; and three new Zerto capabilities making managed disaster recovery work at the scale and security profile of regulated enterprise fleets.
Developer & SMB Experience
The platform, easier and faster to build on. This quarter, our Web Hosting offer is undergoing its most significant evolution in years: Video Center brings sovereign, ad-free video hosting to our catalogue, Managed WordPress reaches GA, Backup Agent extends to Canada and APAC, and the VPS 2027 range arrives with a new entry tier and the foundations for our next storage evolution.
