A dedicated environment

With our VPS solutions, you get allocated hardware resources, and root access to your virtual servers — so you have total control to manage your servers and resources as you see fit. This makes it a perfect environment for managing your websites and applications.

You can choose the datacentre your VPS will be hosted in. The closer it is to your end users, the lower the latency. This way, you will get the quality of service you need to deliver an optimal user experience.

With our VPS range, you get a stable and reliable solution. Hardware availability is guaranteed by a service level agreement (SLA).

Your questions answered

What is a VPS?

A VPS (virtual private server) is a virtual machine created on a physical server, with its own resources. This makes it a perfect stepping stone between a shared hosting package and a dedicated server. Our VPS solutions are more flexible than cloud hosting plans, and offer optimised capacity for higher performance.

What types of business solutions can a VPS reseller integrate?

If you would like to discover the VPS offerings delivered by our partner resellers, please refer to our dedicated directory. You can find examples of solutions integrated into our NVMe SSD VPS.

In the "Specialisation" filter, select the product you are looking for (in this case, a VPS). Then, in the "Business" filter, select "Value-added reseller". You will then find offerings from resellers that are relevant to your interests.

What is the difference between a VPS and a web hosting plan?

Unlike a shared hosting plan, a VPS uses a dedicated environment — so it offers a much greater degree of flexibility in terms of how you manage your resources. You can configure it to suit your project’s needs, no matter which operating system you choose.

Can I host several websites on an SSD VPS?

Yes, you can host several websites on a VPS. You can organise and partition it to fit your project’s specific needs, and host multiple websites and applications by allocating them separate resources and storage spaces. To simplify how you do this, you can install a web hosting control panel like Plesk or cPanel.

What are the advantages of a VPS, compared to a dedicated server?

A low-cost VPS is an affordable alternative to a dedicated server. You get allocated resources at a much lower cost, and you can also avoid the hassle of hardware management for your solution. If you need to scale up as your business grows, you can always upgrade to a higher solution later.

How do I become a VPS reseller?

To become an OVHcloud VPS reseller, you must be part of the OVHcloud Partner Program. This way, you can join our ecosystem of partners, and enjoy a range of benefits.

Solutions adapted to your customers' needs

In addition to our NVMe SSD VPS solutions, you can offer your customers a Cloud VPS. It is a comprehensive virtual server solution: they can pair this machine with other cloud solutions to grow their business.

Do your customers’ projects need more power? With its raw resources, a dedicated server will provide them with the capacity they need.

Why choose OVHcloud?

We manage our entire production chain, from server design to datacentre construction. We are constantly innovating to meet your current and future needs. We are present all over the world, so you can launch your projects as closely as possible to your customers.
Our goal is to support everyone in launching their web projects. With this in mind, we created our VPS solutions. We have designed them to be suitable for all budgets.
