What is a Game server used for?

A Game dedicated server is a standalone machine used exclusively for hosting multiplayer video games. Unlike other kinds of hosting where resources might be shared, a Game dedicated server is all yours. It handles everything related to your game – logic, data, and player connections – and doesn’t rely on any single player’s hardware.

Where would my data be hosted?

By choosing a server location close your users, you can keep latency low – with the support of our global infrastructure. If your players are spread across several regions, it may be useful to deploy additional servers in strategic geographical zones.

What is the vRack private network?

The vRack isn’t included in the Game range. But the private server network provides fast, secure data exchange within the same system, useful for hosting connected game servers, like main and zone servers.
