What is the difference between ActiveSync and other protocols?
IMAP is a standard and widely used protocol that allows access to emails from multiple devices. The frequency of updates varies based on the refresh rate chosen in each email client.
ActiveSync, on the other hand, offers real-time syncing (push). This protocol also integrates calendars and contacts for a complete and unified experience across all your devices. ActiveSync is included in the Zimbra Pro and Zimbra Business plans.
Can I use ActiveSync with Outlook or on mobile?
ActiveSync is compatible with Outlook on both desktop and mobile, as well as with the native applications on your smartphones (iOS Mail, Gmail, etc.), so you can make the most of your Zimbra Pro email.
Is ActiveSync included in all OVHcloud Zimbra plans?
