The life cycle of .de
Creating your .de domain name
The owner or administrator of the domain name must have an address in Germany. If you do not meet this condition, OVHcloud will be automatically marked as a local contact. When the domain name expires, it will go into transit status with DENIC, the registry for .de domains, who will then contact you to confirm the deletion of your domain name. If this operation is not confirmed, it will be billed.
