SecNumCloud-qualified solutions

You need to subscribe to Enterprise Support to order services within a SecNumCloud perimeter for the first time. Customised support and a dedicated Technical Account Manager contact enhance the customer experience. All operations related to services and hosted data are handled solely by EU-based staff.

Deploying a SecNumCloud environment involves several security and advanced connectivity solutions that require support from our Professional Services experts. To set up your SecNumCloud-qualified environment, you need to subscribe to the SecNumCloud Professional Services starter pack.

The SecNumCloud Professional Services starter pack includes:

• Debriefing with our solutions architects: technical qualification of the environment including network and security
• Assistance in configuring advanced features: Connectivity, VPN Gateway, Key Management Service (KMS), or OVHcloud Connect

Depending on the complexity of your environment and your level of autonomy, you may need to subscribe to an additional pack with our Professional Services or partners.

OVHcloud offers connectivity services dedicated to the SecNumCloud perimeter, as the framework requires advanced network isolation and stream encryption.

The SPN (Secured Private Network) is an L3 private network operated by OVHcloud, enabling secure connectivity within a SecNumCloud perimeter and enabling the creation and management of subnets, as well as connecting remote networks via the VPN Gateway shown below.

The InterDC SPN option allows remote SPNs with a SecNumCloud zone to be securely interconnected, in order to set up disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Connectivity services are currently available in our datacentres in Roubaix, Strasbourg, and Gravelines.

Just as VMware on OVHcloud and SAP HANA on Private Cloud are available within OVHcloud’s standard perimeter, services within a SecNumCloud perimeter can also be reached via the internet. Advanced security features are offered with the ‘NSX DataCenter for vSphere Advanced’ Software-Defined Network (SDN) service included in our SecNumCloud-certified solutions.

However, to interconnect services in a SecNumCloud zone with other services outside this perimeter via a private link, you will need to subscribe to a VPN Gateway service. This ensures connectivity with a very high level of availability, and encryption between services within the SecNumCloud perimeter (via its SPN), with services such as:

• being present on the customer’s on-premises infrastructure, using the OVHcloud Connect service,
• or being accessible via the customer’s vRack network
