The Cold Archive solution is billed according to the archive space (on magnetic tapes) and Object Storage space used, with a granularity of 1 GB.

For optimal readability, the price is displayed per GB/month — but since there are 730 hours in an average month, the billing granularity is per GB/hour.

The minimum archive duration is 180 days. If an archive is deleted before this commitment period (with ‘date’ being between 0 and 180 days), the customer will be charged an additional fee, calculated as follows: (180 days — date) x storage class price.

Even if you have less than 1 TB of data, archiving a container will still be charged as if you had 1 TB of stored data. Simply put, the minimum amount billed for archiving is the 1 TB rate. The archiving operation is free.

Here are a few examples:

  • If you archive a 500 GB bucket, you’ll be charged the 1 TB rate.
  • If you archive a 1500 GB bucket, you’ll be charged the 1 TB + 500 GB rate

Managed Rancher Service comes in two plans: ‘OVHcloud Edition’ and ‘Standard’, available on a pay-as-you-go basis. You will be billed based on the total number of vCPUs used in your downstream clusters. Keep in mind, a minimum of 20 vCPUs will be billed, even if you don’t end up using that many in your clusters.

A worker node is any node that has available computing capacity (labelled as ‘schedulable’ by Rancher). All so-called ‘schedulable’ nodes (along with their vCPUs) are therefore counted except for control plane nodes, which have a specific role and are labelled as ‘taint’. The customer agrees not to deploy workloads on nodes labelled as ‘non-schedulable’.

 *Price for a one-month Savings Plan. The Savings Plans page lists rates for 6, 12, 24 and 36-month Plans. 

Local Zone and 3-AZ resources are not eligible for Savings Plans.
