Eligibility conditions
Who can register a .de?
The owner or administrator of the domain name must have an address in Germany. If you do not meet this condition, OVHcloud will be automatically marked as a local contact. When the domain name expires, it will go into transit status with DENIC, the registry for .de domains. DENIC will then contact you to confirm the domain deletion. If the operation is not confirmed, you will be charged.
