1/ How do I report illegal content?

If you would like to report illegal content or activity perpetrated using OVHcloud services, you can do so:

For your report to be considered valid, you must provide the following technical and legal elements to enable us to characterise and address the illegal content or activity:

  • The legal basis, e.g. article XXX of law xx.
  • A description of the infringement: You must provide a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you consider the content or activity to be unlawful. As this explanation is transferred to our client, you must not mention any confidential or personal information (including your name) that you do not want to give them access to. OVHcloud does not accept any responsibility for the use that may be made of the information you provide.
  • The identity of the person making the report: this information may vary depending on your situation.

  • An email address to receive information on the outcome of your report. Single-use email addresses are not accepted.
  • Declaration of good faith: we remind you that presenting content or activity as unlawful with the aim of obtaining its removal or stopping its dissemination, with the knowledge that this information is inaccurate, is punishable by a one-year prison term and a €15,000 fine.
