A wide range of storage capacities
Our servers, optimised for disk space, offer a good balance between capacity and cost. Choose from a variety of disks (SAS, SSD, NVMe) and add more as you need, without interrupting your business.
High availability
Hot swapping refers to replacing a defective medium, or one that needs to be removed from the server, without service interruption. This feature is ideal for high-availability architectures, particularly our High-Grade servers.
Private network and OVHcloud Link Aggregation
Each storage server includes private network connectivity, making it easy to interconnect with other OVHcloud services, or your databases. With OVHcloud Link Aggregation (OLA), it is possible to aggregate network links to increase the total private bandwidth.

Additional storage space
With file storage solutions fully managed by OVHcloud, you get centralised, high-performance storage and backup spaces for your data.
Additional backup storage
Each of our dedicated servers has a 500 GB backup space for storing your data and configuration files. This space can be increased to 1.5 or 10 TB for larger volumes.
Enterprise File Storage
Enterprise File Storage is a NetApp ONTAP Select software-defined storage solution, managed by OVHcloud. Connect your OVHcloud services and critical business applications to a high-performance file storage service.
HA-NAS
A low-cost OpenZFS-based storage service, managed by OVHcloud, immediately available for Windows and/or Linux/UNIX applications that require a shared file system.
Veeam Enterprise Plus
Deploy your Veeam Backup & Replication platform and use OVHcloud Enterprise Plus licenses to ensure backup, recovery and replication for your critical workloads, including VMware, Nutanix, Windows and Linux physical servers, and NAS storage solutions.

Network
Unlimited and guaranteed 1 Gbps public bandwidth
Our servers in Europe, the US, and Canada all have a guaranteed bandwidth of 1 Gbps, with free, unlimited ingress and egress traffic. In the Asia-Pacific region, the default bandwidth is 1 Gbps, with a 25 TB monthly limit (included). Additional bandwidth and volume options are available on demand.
IPMI and KVM on IP
The Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) console can be accessed via the OVHcloud Control Panel or API, and provides you with a direct connection to your dedicated server. If your server becomes unavailable, you can keep control of it via its public IP address.
Load Balancer
The OVHcloud Load Balancer distributes the traffic load on the IP addresses for your services hosted in our datacentres. You will need to use this option if you want to distribute your traffic across several servers (e.g. for an e-commerce website). You can also use it to detect unavailable servers, and redirect traffic to one or more functioning servers.
OVHcloud Link Aggregation
This feature maximises the availability of your dedicated servers. You can enable it on the OVHcloud Control Panel to group your public and private network links. This ensures service continuity, and a very high-bandwidth private network for your most critical applications and distributed systems.
IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
Each server has a public IPv4 address and an IPv6 address range. As an option, you can rent additional IPv4 addresses for your dedicated server (up to 256 per machine).
OVHcloud Connect
With OVHcloud Connect, you can link your network to your infrastructure in our datacentres. This high-speed private link is completely isolated from the public network, and perfectly secure.
Additional, guaranteed public bandwidth
Our dedicated servers have a default public bandwidth. Depending on your project’s resource requirements, you can choose an additional guaranteed bandwidth option. This ensures constant throughput for your incoming and outgoing traffic.
Anti-DDoS protection
To guarantee maximum security for your infrastructures, our anti-DDoS system is included with all OVHcloud dedicated servers.
vRack private network
Your server is delivered with our private physical network—the vRack. This means you can create your own cluster, or include your server in an existing infrastructure. It is completely isolated from the internet and delivered at no extra cost.
Additional IPs
As part of our Additional IP solution, additional IPv4 addresses can be transferred between OVHcloud servers (as a failover feature). This means you can keep them if you change or migrate your machine, use them to switch traffic if a service goes down, or switch projects from a development environment to a production environment. These IP addresses can also be geolocated in 14 countries.
Bring Your Own IP
With the IP address bringing service (BYOIP) provided by OVHcloud, you can bring your own public IPv4 address ranges and use them as additional IP blocks.
It is a simple way to ensure that your company’s public connectivity is maintained. This is especially the case when you migrate some or all of your services to the cloud.

From your Control Panel, you can directly access an interface that gives you a clear view of your server’s traffic. You can also view the anti-DDoS included with your solution.
Carbon Calculator
With the Carbon Calculator, you can generate monthly reports on your server’s energy usage, and assess its carbon footprint at different levels of detail.

Is my bandwidth usage unlimited?
At OVHcloud, unlimited and unmetered traffic is enabled by default, with the exception of solutions and services hosted our Asia-Pacific datacentres.
What are the advantages of the vRack private network?
The vRack is a private network that is isolated from the internet. This means you can create your own cluster, or connect your server to an existing infrastructure, at no extra cost.
Through the vRack private network, you can secure the exchanges between your web server and your database. To do this, you must disable the public IP address of the dedicated server you want to protect.
How do I choose my datacentre?
OVHcloud Bare Metal servers are available in our network of datacentres across the globe. To host services, we recommend choosing a datacentre that is geographically close to both your customers and main end users.
Choosing a location for storing and processing data means that you can ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
