Elevate your data analytics
Launch your distributed query clusters
The service runs on a query engine that can scale to handle queries of any size, from megabytes to tens of terabytes. Your query engine is built on the open-source technology Trino (a fork of PrestoSQL), and is distributed. Each execution auto-generates a query plan to distribute the workload between all the workers in your cluster. Minimise downtime for your live applications by balancing read and write requests, in a robust, scalable cluster.

Query any type of external data
You can use Analytics Manager to query data that is compatible with around 15 connectors. Easily access different data sources with one query to prevent overload and duplication in various environments. With the Query Authoring interface, you can explore data, and group, filter and organise metrics. This engine automatically detects the most relevant database or table to query, based on the requested metrics. Data analysts can also use a SQL editor to prepare their queries in standard ANSI SQL language on any compatible data source.
Create a narrative around your data with attractive dashboards
Enable your teams to create drag-and-drop dashboards with customisable filters and built-in stories. With a wide array of visuals at your disposal, you can optimise the rendering of your KPIs through multiple graphic options. Create custom dashboards with your business/corporate colours, and filter or break down your charts to detail your insights. Data Platform’s version control system keeps live dashboards accessible while you work on new versions.

Publish your dashboards securely and at scale
Share read-only URLs of your dashboards with end users for easy access. Users can view dashboards in real-time on large screens in their offices 24/7, or they can log on to a computer or mobile to monitor them on the fly. Access to dashboards is authenticated and authorised via the Data Platform Identity and Access Management (IAM) tool. This includes support for Advanced Data Access Control (ADAC), so you can control data access based on roles.
End users can access and browse all their dashboards via a web interface, without opening the Data Platform console. They can easily export data corresponding to queries or dashboards in multiple formats (e.g. CSV), to ensure interoperability with other business tools.
Use your favourite BI tools or the Apache Superset app
Connect external Business Intelligence (BI) applications, like Microsoft Power BI, to the Analytics Manager query engine. This allows users to directly access tables and queries in their Data Platform, and replaces the Analytics Manager’s self-service data visualisation with a more familiar view.
Need advanced dashboards? Deploy an Apache Superset instance directly in your Data Platform in just a few clicks. Harness the functional richness of this large, open-source standard for big data mining and visualisation.
