Which dedicated server do I choose?
OVHcloud offers a wide range of Intel dedicated servers, with configurations that adapt to a wide variety of professional uses. So, depending on your needs, you can choose the amount of RAM, storage space or processors that best suit your projects. Our Rise range is the most affordable, while Advance servers are the most suitable option for users looking for enterprise-level features. The Storage range offers a solution for archiving and backup needs. Finally, for the most intense workloads, we recommend our Scale and High Grade servers.
When will my server be available?
Once you have purchased your Intel Dedicated Server, you can deploy it in less than 120 seconds. OVHcloud works to deliver its servers in the shortest possible time. The delivery time corresponds to the time the server is made available and begins once we have received your payment. It may also be subject to the configuration of additional options or the specific availability in the selected datacentre.
What type of billing does OVHcloud offer?
OVHcloud offers a transparent billing system with clear information about the price of your services. You can enjoy free installation when purchasing any of our dedicated servers with a commitment to permanence, as well as different functionalities at no additional cost, such as anti-DDoS protection and unlimited traffic (except in our datacentres located in the Asia-Pacific regions). In addition, each server has a free storage space of 500 GB (scalable up to 10 TB), completely independent of the server and accessible via FTP, which you can activate from your client area at any time.
What is the level of service and customer service that I have?
All our servers enjoy a Service Level Commitment (SLA) between 99.90% and 99.99%, depending on the range. This guarantees you the best possible availability. With OVHcloud dedicated servers, you can receive technical support by phone or email, and we offer different levels of support (Standard, Premium, Business or Enterprise) to suit your specific needs.
What operating systems are compatible with my server?
Our dedicated servers are compatible with a wide range of distributions, operating systems, database management software, and hypervisors, which can be installed automatically from the OVHcloud client area. Thus, it can integrate different distributions (Windows Server, Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS), Plesk and cPanel web management interfaces, database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, and virtualization solutions such as VMware, CoreOS or Windows Hyper-V.
Is it possible to create a private network with dedicated servers?
You can create a cluster of dedicated servers or a hybrid infrastructure over a high-speed private network in a multi-datacentre perimeter. vRack private networking is included with all our dedicated servers for free, except the Rise and Game ranges.
Is it possible to create additional IP addresses?
All servers ship with a public IPv4 address and an IPv6 address range. Optionally, you can also contract additional IPv4 addresses for your dedicated server (up to 256 addresses per machine).
